The RTD and TDN App are designed to be user-friendly, offering full support for both iOS and Android platforms.

The RTD is not just a tune delivery device; it's a professional support system. It enables customers to send vehicle read files, share data logs directly with their tuner, and receive expert calibration files to flash to their watercraft via the TDN App.

Tune Delivery Network (TDN) is the new standard for remote tune delivery. Send your tuner PWC read files and data logs and receive professional calibration files to flash to your seadoo using the free-to-download TDN app available for iPhone and Android. The TDN app syncs with the RTD device via Bluetooth, removing the laptop from the equation when licensing and writing tunes to your Watercraft

Before You Begin

Please have the following ready:

* HP Tuners RTD interface
* Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
* Stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular)
* Bluetooth turned ON
* Vehicle battery fully charged (recommended to use a battery charger during flashing)

Step 1 – Download the TDN App

1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Search for HP Tuners TDN.
3. Download and install the app.
4. Open the app and create an HP Tuners account (or log in if you already have one). (HP Tuners Docs)

Step 2 – Pair Your RTD Device

1. Plug the RTD into your vehicle’s diagnostic port.
2. Turn the ignition ON (do NOT start the engine).
3. Open the TDN app.
4. Enable Bluetooth when prompted.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your RTD device.
6. Allow the app to update the RTD if requested. (HP Tuners)

Step 3 – Connect to Your Tuner

1. Open the TDN app.
2. Go to Account or Tuners.
3. Enter the Invite Code provided by Ruthless Racing.
4. Verify that you are successfully connected to your tuner. (YouTube)

Step 4 – Read Your Vehicle

1. Select the FLASH tab.
2. Tap READ VEHICLE.
3. Turn the ignition ON (engine OFF).
4. Press OK to begin.
5. Do NOT:
* Start the engine.
* Turn the key off.
* Disconnect the RTD.
* Walk away with your phone.
6. Wait for the read to complete. This may take several minutes.
7. When finished, verify a green check mark appears next to the uploaded file. If it does not, tap SYNC FILES. (HP Tuners)

Step 5 – Wait for Your Tune

Once your read has uploaded successfully:

* Ruthless Racing will review your file.
* Your custom tune will be uploaded directly to your TDN account.
* You will be notified when it is ready.

Step 6 – Flash Your Tune

1. Open the TDN app.
2. Tap FLASH.
3. Select your vehicle.
4. Tap SYNC FILES if your tune is not visible.
5. Select the newest tune file from Ruthless Racing.
6. Tap WRITE VEHICLE.
7. Turn the ignition ON (engine OFF).
8. Press OK and allow the flash to complete.
9. Do NOT:
* Start the engine.
* Disconnect the RTD.
* Turn the ignition off.
10. Wait until the app confirms the write is complete. (HP Tuners Docs)

Important

* Always keep your phone close to the RTD during reading or flashing.
* Make sure your phone has a good internet connection.
* Never interrupt a read or write process.
